black bird, have you heard?

some say 

you look quite absurd

and the way you live

won't ever give

any person hope

black bird, why so depressed?

black bird! get up and fly

then I'll finally try

to build a nest

then I'll finally cry

for the Dove

to rest

within my yearning,

lonesome
