Know

Know

You know that you don't know

but you still think you know

and though that isn't so

you think to know you need a miraculous show

but, my friend, that show

has already made itself known

O, so long, long ago

however one thing you may not know

is that to know is to go

know that it is an action

and not just an acknowledgment

the first step of a journey

and a bringing of oneself low

it is to live as though

there is no life apart from to know

and be convinced that this know

is more mutual than this life can possibly show

but be sure, it will be made known

brighter than the sun, this day,

has shone.

This was written to my good friend. I pray the Lord gives him an overwhelming desire to follow Christ and know Him intimately in this journey called life.
